this week´s theme at TT is orange…

one of my favorite autumnal joys in my garden are these “lantern” plants. here a pic enhanced with kim´s newest texture “partings”. i chose for a quote from william allingham, but shortened it for my purpose (original: Now Autumn’s fire burns slowly along the woods and day by day the dead leaves fall and melt.)

though we are having the hottest days of the year, the first signs of autumn are evident: fog in the night, the garden full of spiders… i applied some tattered textures from shadowhouse creations and the new dream-it from kim klassen. the spider web is sitting in my wine plant…

recently i was in heidelberg and this is the cover of a photobook i created about the trip…

and sunkissed we were at that weekend… we heard a wonderful concert in the evening of july 7th in the castle courtyard with the us army europe band and chorus. delightful!!

 august will be a month with a ”blue moon“…

“blackbird” (beatles song > take a word challenge) – brought to my mind because our tomcat caught 2 young blackbirds recently. i hate it when he does this, but well, that´s nature…

i will be away for the rest of the week, going to a 5-days trip to stockholm with 3 girlfriends. the weather forecast is not what we hoped for, but we will have a great time anyway

(i always thought white peacocks are albinos, but there is another pigment reduction called leucism… so don´t say these challenges are not improving my knowledge;))
