the girl with the hat (which is the theme of this week´s ws-challenge) is a transparency, glued onto spin&splash-background; 3 glass-butterflies added. stamp on the red background from stampin´ up!

das mädel mit dem hut (= thema diese woche bei den mittwochstemplern) ist ein transparency, geklebt auf einen spin&splash-hintergrund; mit 3 glas-schmetterlingen verziert. hintergrundstempel auf dem roten quadrat von stampin´ up.

it´s really time to make some birthday cards in advance. no reserves here. this time i took the shape of the cd and cut it out from glossy cardstock. same colors as cd, can you believe? images from paper whimsy, background stamp from stampers anonymous. vellum glued and sewed on. made a third one which is similar.

ist mal zeit, dass ich wieder ein paar geburtstagskarten auf vorrat mache. diesmal nahm ich nur den umriss einer cd und hab ihn aus glossy karton ausgeschnitten. die selben farben verwendet wie für die cd, kaum zu glauben, oder? die bilder sind von paper whimsy, der hintergrundstempel von stampers anonymous. das vellum aufgeklebt und aufgenäht. hab noch eine dritte – ähnliche – gemacht.

well, i´m afraid, that looks better (more vibrant) on the scan than in reality *lol*! in reality you see more the reflections and i wonder how the scanner changed this… the alcoholic inks i used are two shades of blue and honey. anyway, this turns out totally different… at the right there is a birdtext from greenpepperpress (something dark in the scans overlays it), the white dots are gessospots sprinkled on with toothbrush. the word at the blue tape lower left says “starry night”. cd glued onto leatherstructure-paper, which is also stamped with gpp.

haha, ich glaub der scan ist schöner als das original (weil das doch ganz schön reflektiert, mich wundert, das der scanner das geschluckt hat). hab als farben copics in 2 blautönen und honigfarbe benutzt. kommt total anders raus hier… rechts ein vogeltext von greenpepperpress (auch der wird von irgendwas dunklem überlagert, das der scanner produziert), die weißen pünktchen sind gessogesprenkel mit einer zahnbürste. das wort auf dem blauen tape links unten ist “sternennacht”, aus einem alten gedichtbuch ausgeschnitten. die cd dann auf papier mit lederstruktur geklebt, das ebenfalls mit gpp-gummis bestempelt wurde.
