die neue creavil-challenge für die nächsten 2 wochen heißt art journaling… das passt dann ja:))
obwohl ich meine artjournals nicht eigentlich als “persönliches tagebuch” (im sinne von “diary”) sehen würde, denn die ganz privaten sachen (mache ich zwar auch) stelle ich nicht hier öffentlich aus. ich betrachte die artjournals eher als eine art “magazin”, aber im wesentlichen ist es wohl einzuordnen unter dem, was in der blogwelt so als artjournal geläufig ist. häufig benutze ich sprüche (mag ich einfach sehr gern) und bilder (in letzter zeit v.a. selbst bearbeitete), so kann ich prima verschiedene leidenschaften kombinieren. der hintergrund ist bei einer sprühorgie im sommer entstanden und mit ein paar stempeln aufgepeppt worden. ich liebe diese file folder, mal ein größeres format (din-a-4), auf dem ich mich austoben kann…

in der letzten zeit hab ich mir oft die journale zur hand genommen, die ich von susie lafond habe – sie macht sowas schon lange, ursprünglich wohl nach dem muster von mary ann moss (die im inneren ihrer R.O.D.s [= remains of the day] allerdings nur mit papier arbeitet; einen workshop dazu gibts übrigens noch bis ende januar preislich reduziert hier ). susie hat das ganze schon ziemlich weiterentwickelt, arbeitet auch viel stoff ein. – ich werde es aber erstmal mit einfacheren varianten probieren, nicht so verwickelt & verschachtelt (was beim anschauen viel spaß macht!) … ein bisschen vortasten und schauen, was draus wird…
recently i was inspired by the journals of susie lafond (i have four of them). i think she worked after the method of mary ann moss (who has a reduced workshop until 1/31 here). susie has gone beyond – but i think i will try the simpler samples first… takin´ it slowly…

bei meinen journalen soll es auch themen geben (auf dem foto eine erste vor-sammlung zum thema “liebe”). allerdings kann gut sein, dass ich an mehreren journalen parallel arbeiten werde. wieweit sich das hier auf dem blog gut zeigen lässt, weiß ich noch nicht… geht ja immer schrittchenweise.
i think most of my journals will have themes (on the photo you see a pre-gathering for the theme “love”). but might be i will work on more journals at the same time. not sure how to show this on the blog, will see…

as said, the journal is about my health. i suffer from ulcerative colitis/crohn disease for two decades now and have hard times alternating with better ones. but you can keep it short: the harder times are *d*mn s*h*t* – literally (as the title means, written in german on the cover…)

actually i hesitated to show it on my blog. i kept it private so far (and most of the pages will not be published). but then i thought, as my intro spread says:
