on pantomusicals.uk i found a poster with this dracula and some bats, which i edited and also took as a base for the faux postage.

am dienstag ist der “vater” der wilden kerle gestorben…
hab hier ein zweiteiliges interview gefunden – wer einigermaßen englisch kann…
und außerdem gibt es einen (bereits geschlossenen) blog, auf dem “wilde kerle” kunstwerke gesammelt sind: “terrible yellow eyes”
Maurice Sendak spottete gelegentlich über die Briefe, die aus Schulklassen an ihn, den Autor des Kinderbuchklassikers “Wo die wilden Kerle wohnen”, geschickt wurden. Zu sehr sei ihnen anzumerken, dass sie im Auftrag Erwachsener entstanden seien. Doch einen Brief zeigte er immer wieder gerne vor. “Wie teuer ist die Reise dahin, wo die wilden Kerle wohnen?”, hatte da ein Achtjähriger geschrieben: “Wenn es nicht zu teuer ist, wollen meine Schwester und ich dort den Sommer verbringen.”

nick bantock /mailart style postcard swap

i hosted a nick bantock swap (postcards) this month and all participants will get this faux postage i made for them exclusively (to be cut out with stamp edge scissors after printing). of course the red writing will not be printed;)

für meinen nick bantock postkartentausch diesen monat hab ich für die teilnehmer eine exklusive sondermarke gemacht, die ich der rücksendung beilegen werde. wird natürlich mit briefmarkenschere ausgeschnitten und ohne die rote schrift gedruckt.you will see my cards the following days… meine karten gibts die nächsten tage zu sehen…

PAF – snail mail / freebie

on the second one i used bonnie´s medieval magic texture. i decided to turn it into a faux postage stamp (which i often do with my pictures), adding the stencil std font.
i´d like to offer this as a freebie for you to use… just print it out in a small format and cut it with stamp scissors (fiskars f.e.). i really love to personalize my mail/art this way…
