i was in the mood to make some birds (see template below) with my catslife press face stamps i got recently. rest of the stamps are gpp, golden scrap wings (artchix) painted with acrylics and sanded after drying. think i will make more tomorrow in different colors.
thinking of adding feet (made of wire), different styles of wings, hanging them onto ribbons (making a mobile…)…

hatte lust auf ein paar vögel (schablonen siehe unten), da ich kürzlich eine menge gesichter-stempel von catslife press bekommen habe. restliche stempel von gpp, die goldenen flügel (von artchix) erst mit acrylfarbe bemalt, nach dem trocknen mit sandpapier die farbe teilweise wieder abgerubbelt. ich glaube da mach ich morgen noch mehr davon, in verschiedenen farben.
man könnte noch füße aus draht dran machen, die flügel variieren, sie an bändern aufhängen (mobile?)…

x-mas in july

well, that´s what i´m doing: working on a x-mas little fat book of our munich stamping group. vacations are the best time for that… i never get bigger projects done in late fall. – of course i can´t show you the finished page, but that is a stamp i use…

gerade arbeite ich an einem kleinen dicken buch (10x10cm seitengröße) für das weihnachtsprojekt des münchner stempeltreffs. die ferien sind ideal dazu, im herbst liegt der schwerpunkt wieder auf schule… – kann natürlich keine fertige seite zeigen, aber u.a. verwende ich diesen stempel…

at least some great mail… the ordered frida fabrics arrived. frida is about 12 inch tall, so i will see what i will come up with…

zumindest tolle post dieser tage… die bestellten frida-stoffe kamen an. die fridas sind ziemlich groß, ca. 25 / 30 cm. mal sehen, was mir dazu einfällt…

only this week left… / nur noch diese woche…

im fernsehen laufen zur zeit auf arte filme anlässlich “40 jahre summer of love”. einer der höhepunkte war sicher das monterey pop festival im juni 1967. ich war damals 10 und hab natürlich diese musik nicht aktuell mitbekommen. aber noch heute krieg ich eine gänsehaut, wenn ich mir die ausschnitte davon auf you tube anschaue. einfach eingeben “monterey festival 1967″. massenweise videos.

july is not the month for creating… i´m spending most of my time with things for school. besides we have abnormal heat which is melting my brain. now i found some pics of my b.day flowers in my camera and thought i might at least upload a few of them…

der juli ist kein guter monat für mein hobby… ich verbringe die meiste zeit in der schule oder mit sachen für die schule. außerdem hat es zur zeit so eine affenhitze, dass mir schier das gehirn schmilzt. aber jetzt hab ich im fotoapparat noch die bilder von meinen geburtstagsblumen entdeckt, da wollte ich noch ein paar davon hochladen…

JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, die Rock-Oper von Tim Rice und Andrew Lloyd Webber…

hab ich gestern in der freilichtbühne in augsburg am roten tor gesehen und es war einfach nur megageil!!! vor 30 jahren konnte ich da ja alle texte mitsingen, ich liebe dieses stück!

supertolle darsteller mit einfach nur sagenhaften stimmen, das wetter passte (wir konnten bis zum schluss im t-shirt sitzen) und die bühne liegt einfach malerisch (mit 2200 sitzen auch die größte freilichtbühne süddeutschlands). ich bin immer noch überwältigt. ich war mit zwei freundinnen da, von denen ich diese karte zum geburtstag bekommen habe. ein supergeschenk!!
