sorry i´m a bit late, but i´m still down with the flu, quite nasty and persistent.
but it wasn´t too much work to draw the winners, as i had printed out the comments daily as they came in… because actually i love the hat-drawing method (cheating: i took a bowl…;)) much better than the random generator. simply because it is so hard for me to count along in the comments, if they are not numbered (and they aren´t)… what to do with somebody who made a second comment because she forgot something in the first? too much attention to pay… i think the hat/bowl is the easier way…
so here we go… 2 ladies from usa, and one from italy… gladly the postal fees for international sendings went down at the beginning of the year… so i will cram pack the envelopes up to as much as possible!!
the owoh winners will get an email and are asked to respond within 48 hours, otherwise i will have to make a new drawing…
(please give me a few more days to send the stuff out, as i´m not yet feeling well…)

inzwischen bin ich die offizielle “geburtstagskartenbeauftragte”… hab dann gleich die fotos verwurstelt vom letzten 50er des vergangenen oktobers… nur noch zwei aus der runde sind jetzt drunter;)

a new spread for my paper-fabric-journal “love”;
on the left side a paper strip with photos of my family, sewed on only on top and bottom, so it can hold a photo or two…
right side: on the glassine envelope a photo of jim morrison – the lyrics from the doors are inside on a tag – the quote “love is the answer” is matching this week´s 3-muses-challenge… — plus the theme “valentine or love” at the stampotique designers challenge is not asking for stampotique stamps especially this week, so here i go… and not to forget the wednesdaystampers, also with the theme “expressions of love”.
eine weitere doppelseite in meinem papier/stoff-journal “love”das mit dem OWOH event nimmt ja ziemlich groteske züge an… ich sitze zwar selber viel vor dem pc und klicke mich durch eine menge blogs. allerdings bookmarke ich mir schon den ein oder anderen, denn das ist ja wohl der eigentliche sinn des ganzen. bei vielen habe ich dieses gefühl aber nicht… hier wird z.t. wahllos per copy&paste überall der gleiche standard-kommentar eingefügt, die lesen manchmal noch gar nicht, was eigentlich verlost wird… husch, husch, das war´s dann, abgehakt… ziemlich fragwürdig teilweise…
ich werde es sicher nicht schaffen alle teilnehmer durchzuklicken, will ja nicht tag und nacht damit verbringen.
diese doppelseite für ein stoff-papier-journal hat auch wieder eine blindenschrift-seite als grundlage.
auf der rechten hälfte habe ich zuerst mit gestreiftem tape eine atc-hülle aufgekebt; dann festgenäht. soll ein tag hineinkommen.

on the right an atc-sleeve fixed with tape, sewed on – will hold a tag.
über die atc-hülle habe ich ein mit mohnblumen bedrucktes altes kontenpapier genäht (nur rechts, lässt sich also aufklappen).
auf der linken hälfte ist unten eine folie (einstecktasche), die mit einem graffiti von pippi langstrumpf bedruckt ist (mit tape fixiert + festgenäht); daneben noch ein anderer tapestreifen mit aufgenähtem bandstück “laugh often”. ganz oben wieder mein geliebter gefärbter eyelet-twill, durch den sich tags fädeln lassen.
the ledger paper (printed with poppies) is sewed on the right, so it can be opened to reveal the atc-sleeve behind…
on the left side there is a transparency (printed with a graffiti of pippi longstocking), fixed with tape (+sewing), so it can also hold a tag etc.; another tape with a piece of ribbon (“laugh often”); and on top a strip of my beloved handdyed eyelet-twill, also ready to fix some tags…
