made this deco page for nea´s booklet “disguise” and thought it would fit this weeks theme at the wednesdaystamper challenge… stamp “mysteré” is from wubbastampa, arabian script on the upper right from om studio.
diese deco-seite hab ich für nea zum thema “verhüllung, verkleidung” gemacht und ich denke, sie passt damit auch gut zum mittwochsthema von dieser woche… stempel von wubbastampa und om studio.

a deco page i made for lisa vollrath…
it is hard for me to work in black/white… but here i tried. the mixed media are cheesecloth, fancy fibers, a home-depot-sample of grey shades & a polaroid. sun stamp is from psx.

fällt mir schwer, in s/w zu arbeiten, aber hier hab ichs probiert. (eigentlich abartig – denn draußen ist es super farbig, ein totaler sonnentag!)
auf dieser seite in einem deco büchlein für lisa vollrath habe ich verwendet: mullbinde, decoband-wolle, ein graustufiges baumarkt-muster & ein polaroidfoto. der sonnenstempel ist von psx.

you never stop learning: just today i got to know that sometimes the months with the blue moons are different, depending whether you live east or west of greenwich. so for example this year we have a blue moon in may in the usa, but in germany we will have one in june. (the first of the full moons will be on june 1st, shortly after midnight, at 1.08) – funny, isn´t it? i had never thought about that…
well, nothing new from the health-front. i´m still not feeling well. colitis is getting better, but i have risen temperatur (not really high, but high enough to feel weak and down). doctor isn´t happy with the blood, have to check it again next week. maybe a virus. hope it is something that will go away soon, i´m so impatient… i hate it when i lack energy for everything… and it is for weeks now!!

man lernt nie aus: erst heute bin ich drauf gestoßen, dass ein blue moon in verschiedenen monaten eintreten kann – es kommt drauf an, ob man östl. oder westl. von greenwich lebt. so haben wir z.b. dieses jahr im mai einen blue moon in den usa, aber wir hier in deutschland erst im juni (den ersten vollmond dann allerdings sehr früh: bald nach mitternacht am ersten juni). – seltsam, ist mir bisher nie in den sinn gekommen…
von der gesundheitsfront leider nix neues. fühl mich immer noch nicht wirklich besser. die colitis beruhigt sich zwar, aber ich hab immer leicht erhöhte temperatur (nicht schlimm fieber, aber es reicht, um sich absolut schlapp zu fühlen). der arzt ist auch mit den blutwerten nicht glücklich, muss nächste woche noch mal zum abzapfen. vielleicht ein virus. jedenfalls hoffe ich, dass es sich nicht als ernsthaft und längerfristig herausstellt; ich bin so ungeduldig… ich hasse es, für nichts energie zu haben – und das jetzt eigentlich seit wochen!!

dark deco

today i got a big treasure: my dark deco i had going around in lisa vollrath´s deco group returned home, full of awesome art! the round robin was about the “dark side of life” and all the aspects concerning this.
my huge thanks go to bobby besley, jill sullivan, lynn dewart, lisa vollrath, anita edmonds, fast eyes, julia phifer, lisa dixon, jane dickinson, linda koch and nea nygard. you made my day, gals!!

heute fand ein echter schatz seinen weg nach hause: mein “dark deco”, das in lisa vollraths deco-gruppe zirkelte. voll mit supertollen seiten!! thematisch ging es um die dunklen seiten im leben – deren es ja auch zahlreiche gibt.
ein riesiges dankeschön für ihre beiträge geht an die oben genannten mädels:))

well, felt i need a break from duty and make at least some small things. so i worked on some decos for a group that will be closing soon. here are pages for one booklet in elegant style and one boardbook-deco.

hatte jetzt heute mal das gefühl, eine kleine pause von der pflicht müsste sein. so hab ich wenigstens angefangen mit deco-seiten ~ die gruppe, in der ich bin, schließt demnächst, deswegen müssen dringend noch ein paar beiträge fertig werden. hier mal eine seite für ein elegantes deco und eine für ein kleines boardbook.

i had to do a page in susanne´s hearts-deco anyway, so i thought to make it according to this week´s theme of the wednesdaystampers. background paper from rusty pickle, alphastamps from teesha moore.

musste sowieso eine deco-seite machen für susannes hearts-büchlein, dann hab ich´s doch gleich in rot gemacht, dem dieswöchigen thema der mittwochsstempler. die alphastempel sind von teesha moore.

worked in some more decos (here for nea, marian and susanne) and now i have to wait for supplies… btw, that jesus-tape is just great!

hab wieder ein bisschen in decos gearbeitet (hier für nea, marian und susanne), muss jetzt warten, bis wieder nachschub kommt… übrigens, die jesusbilder sind ein tape!
