wednesdaystamper “(hand)bags”

today´s theme at the wednesdaystampers is (hand)bags. well, the red felted bag is storebought, but the application is made by me: stamping with acrylic paints onto fabric – with stamps from greenpepperpress mostly. moon with foam slice.

das heutige thema bei den mittwochstemplern ist (hand-)taschen. nun, die rote filztasche ist gekauft, aber den aufnäher habe ich aus stoff selber gestaltet: die verwendeten stempel (mit acrylfarbe aufgedruckt) sind von greenpepperpress, für den mond eine einfache moosgummischeibe zum stempeln verwendet.

hier ein nadelbüchlein, das ich für eine stempelfreundin genäht habe. 2 von meinen blossfeldt karten auf stoff gedruckt, innen noch schwarzen filz eingenäht für nadeln etc. – inspiriert wurde ich dazu von der aktuellen cloth-paper-scissors.

inspired by the current issue of cloth-paper-scissors i made this needle book for a stamppal. the outside are two of my blossfeldt postcards, which i printed onto fabric. inside fabric from equilter.com & black felt for holding needles etc.

die seite, die ich gestern dazu gestaltet habe, wird in mein skinny halloweenbuch eingehen. – der textstempel (“nevermore”) ist eine sonderanfertigung.
eine schöne lesung (von christopher walken) seines berühmten raben-gedichts gibt es übrigens hier.

bei der heutigen herausforderung dreht sich alles um “öffnungen”…
ich liebe türknäufe (ist das die richtige mehrzahlbildung?;)), bevorzugt alte… an verwitterten türen, wo man nicht weiß, was einen erwartet – falls man überhaupt reinkommt…

oh je, ich konnte mich nicht entscheiden welches meiner vielen autobilder ich für die heutige herausforderung bei tmta nehmen sollte… so wurde es schließlich eine 8er serie:)
stempel von ma vinci und rubber baby, altes kontenpapier für die texte…
könnt ihr euch für eine favoritenkarte entscheiden?

wednesdaystamper “gesso” / kalenderblatt

kaum ist freitag, komme ich auch schon zur mittwochsherausforderung ;) )

aber passt ja gut, wollte eh was machen zu jimmy pages heutigem 65. geburtstag!
(er steht übrigens auf platz 9 der weltbesten gitarristen aller zeiten – laut rolling stone)

das tag ist folgendermaßen gestaltet: auf einen meiner standardhintergründe (vivid-wash aus 2 farben) habe ich das *zoso*-symbol gedruckt. dann foto aufgeklebt und das ganze mit gesso bespritzt (zahnbürste; gesicht abgedeckt). name mit “kashmir”, dem led zeppelin-font, ausgedruckt auf altes rot gefärbtes papier. finish mit neocolor II kreiden, letztendlich noch wollfäden angebracht.

das tag wandert in mein led zeppelin stoffalbum in eine der vielen noch leeren bildertaschen…today is jimmy page´s 65th birthday!

i made a tag with his symbol (*zoso*) and spritzed it with gesso (wednesdaystampers challenge of this week) via toothbrush (covered his face not to give him freckles;)) – name is printed with the led zep-font “kashmir”.

the tag will go into my led zeppelin fabric book, where there are many empty pockets waiting to be filled…
