took the stampington stamp “plaza domes” for this weeks´ challenge at tmta. didn´t want to distract from the image by embellishments, so: pure stamping, masking and sponging. and a little highlighting with the gel pen.

ich mag diesen stampington-stempel sehr gerne und wollte ihn ganz alleine für sich wirken lassen. deshalb nur: stempeln, maskieren und tupfen; und ein bisschen gelstift.
i had ordered these two little artbags from lorraine, uk – she has some nice things in her etsy shop. i love the bright colors and the backsides are as beautiful as the fronts. the bags have the perfect size for holding a mobile.

finding out about my winner i used a random generator. blogspot doesn´t number the comments, so i had to count… and with the help of two other mathematically talented people (my sons, hehe, who came to the same result) it was a clear decision:

klasse, was dem mittwochstemplerteam immer wieder an ideen einfällt…(ich müsste eigentlich gingkoblätter mit noch besserer herzform haben, aber die haben sich grade mal wieder gut versteckt. klaro;))
ich hatte ja vor knapp einem jahr das album hier schon mal gelobt… und nun war es der große abräumer gestern bei der grammy-verleihung – gleich 5 auszeichnungen, eine als “album des jahres”.

theme of the week at tmta is *you´ve got mail* – postal subjects always point me into direction of nick bantock… love his stamps, his style of collaging… hope to make some more of this kind the next days…
dieses thema bringt mich immer wieder auf nick bantock… ich hoffe in den nächsten tagen noch einige atcs in dieser richtung zu machen
kleine geschichte am rande: vor langer langer zeit suchten meine kollegen und ich uns immer ein gemeinsames motto für unseren schulfasching… ein jahr waren es mal schneewittchen (ein kerl in stöckelschuhen) und die 7 zwerge (wir mädels natürlich)… und ein jahr eben (vor genau 20 jahren; weiß ich deshalb so genau, weil ich gerade mit meinem ersten sohn schwanger war) traten wir als KISS auf. war das ein spaß beim schminken!!
ich hätte ja zu gerne fotos davon hier verwendet, aber ich find grad nix (und ich glaube es existieren nur dias davon…)
und obwohl KISS jetzt nicht meine absolute lieblingsband ist, soliden rock spielen sie allemale. ganz gut gefällt mir natürlich *god gave rock n roll to you*
für die herausforderung der woche bei tmta…after a long break i was in the mood to work in the visual journal again… two pages i made today:
nach langer zeit wieder mal wieder im *visual journal* gearbeitet… diese zwei seiten sind heute entstanden…
